What We Love

One of the things that Samba Carnival does differently is the way it pays whenever you have winning combinations. While every other game will ask you to land the symbols starting from the leftmost position (some also from the right) and on adjacent positions or reels, in Samba Carnival you just need them to be next to each other on a payline. A combo of three symbols can start from the second or the third reel and go to the right, or it can do so from the first reel, like it would happen in most slots.

The graphics are easy to enjoy, with quite a few beautiful dancers smiling at you from the reels, accompanied by fruits that are cut up and with cocktail umbrellas sticking out from behind them. Add a couple of musical instruments that would be found at the carnival, and you get a properly themed and designed slot machine, which you will probably enjoy.

Both wild symbols and bonus games are offered in the game. The wild symbols have two to five noise makers on them, and that number will tell you what kind of multiplier they apply to the wins they bring you. 2x to 5x multipliers are used whenever wilds are able to substitute for a regular symbol and a new combo is formed as a result.

You also get a bonus feature, which you need three scatter symbols to trigger. The Drum symbols are used as scatters in this case and they can bring you payouts of up to 150 times the total bet value.

What We Do Not Like

I didn’t find too many things to be unhappy about. The top payout is at only 2,500 coins, but the multiplier of up to 5x from the wild can make it a lot better.

You also get a relatively low number of lines, but once again there is something to offset this. It’s the way the symbols form combinations, without needing to start from the leftmost or rightmost position, instead being enough for them to be on adjacent positions.

Worth Playing?

The game has an interesting and modern design, a couple of very good features and it pays in a way that I haven’t seen before. All things considered, I think it deserves a chance.
