The Flintstones is a game that is due to be released in 2016 by Playtech. The obvious theme in use here is one that is inspired by the animation TV series with the same name, which aired between 1960 and 1966.

The producer of the show was Hanna-Barbera, and the action inside told the story of a man living in the Stone Age, together with his family and friends. It’s a world with dinosaurs and with Stone Age technology which seems to be inspired by the one from modern times.

The game was created under license, and with the cooperation of Hanna-Barbera, so on its reels you will discover all the main characters from the series, along with videos and images which are identical to the ones that you saw as a kid, on TV. The design quality is as good as the one from the TV series or movies with this name, if not even better. If you look at the background image, what you will see is an image with a house made out of stone, with a lake nearby and a wall that is also made out of this material.

The symbols with Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble appear stacked, taking over two positions, while those with the house, with Wilma and Betty are regular sized.

Since the game has 1024 ways to win, it will form combinations by landing matching symbols on adjacent reels, going from left to right. It doesn’t look for fixed positions since there are no paylines, so it’s enough if you have them present on the correct reels.

There are multiple bonus features inside. One of them involves a bowling game, where Fred has to strike as many bowling pins as possible, getting big rewards in exchange. A total of three throws are done, with multipliers awarded for each one.
