NetEnt Just Launched Motorhead Mobile Slot

Motorhead should be a name that most fans of rock & roll will recognize, being a famous band that’s been around for over four decades, since 1975. Motorhead was founded in UK, and it was a hard rock band, which was officially disbanded in 2015, with the death of the last of its original members, Lenny Kilmister.

It did a lot for the rock genre, and the slot machine which is dedicated to them seems to want to celebrate what they achieved. Their list of achievements would include 23 different studio albums, plus live recording, EPs and compilation albums.

The developer which offers us this slot machine is Net Entertainment, one of the more respected and experienced creators of such games. They signed a licensing deal not only with Motorhead, but also with Guns N Roses and with Jimi Hendrix Experience, to create slot machines based on all these rock artists.

The Net Ent Rocks trilogy of slot machines is due to be released in 2016, Motorhead being the last one. We don’t know as much about it as we do about the others, but we can extrapolate and figure out what we can expect at least.

What We Love

As is often the case when Net Ent gets involved, I expect a superb design from this slot machine. The first two games used cartoon versions of the artists, not real photos, so that’s probably going to be the way they approach it in Motorhead as well.

The setting was appropriate for the era in which the artists activated, so for example you got a flower power inspired design for Jimi Hendrix. I’d expect for a concert themed look for Motorhead, with lots of metal and dark graphics.

One thing you can be sure about is that the slot will offer an appropriate soundtrack, not just some generic sounds. You should get some of their more popular songs to listen to as you play, or at least when there are big wins or features involved.

The games released so far didn’t disappoint feature wise. They offered multiple types of free spins, bonus features, wilds and other interesting symbols. Naturally, I’m hoping for more of the same from Motorhead slot machine. Net Ent knows how to make a game interesting, and they promote the Net Ent Rocks trilogy quite a bit, so they seem to have high hopes for it.

The quality of the game should make it a good pick for anyone, but I’d expect fans of rock or of Motorhead to have an even better reason to try it out.
