Electric Diva has been announced by Microgaming, for release in the summer of 2016. The game is an eclectic mix, combining the fantasy genre with music, of all things. The two main characters of the game are females, one human and one alien, and they are holding guitars.

What We Love

Electric Diva’s design is a plus for it, the game offering quite a few very well drawn symbols, inspired by the two main characters, or by various creatures that people tend to dislike (scorpions, bats and spiders). The background image is that of a city, an image taken at night. The reels are surrounded by a light blue wood like material, with horns coming out of it in a couple of locations. It’s an interesting idea at the very least, and the implementation of the design is also good.

You can rely on the wild symbol to get you paid well. You have the slot’s logo used for that particular image. Should you get a wild symbol to appear in two or more positions, from left to right on the same line, you get paid. The prizes start at 25x and can be taken up to 12,000x, which is more than a generous prize. Otherwise, you use a wild to replace a regular symbol in some new combo that is being formed.

The first of the scatters, the one which has two Guitars placed in a crossed pattern, will reward you with payouts of 2x to 100x the wager, a pretty normal prize range for such a symbol.
The features of Electric Diva come from a different symbol, a second scatter that will just be required to be in 3+ locations, and in exchange you get a bonus game.

The bonus starts you off with 1 to 3 free spins and multipliers from 1x to 3x, based on how many symbols triggered it. Once inside the bonus game, you get a chance to win up to 40 free spins, with multipliers going as high as 8x.

What We Do Not Like

I enjoyed most things about Electric Diva. The one thing that I wasn’t excited about was the collection of poker cards, which are used for low paying icons.

I think that Electric Diva offers way too much to be ignored. It is a slot machine that is worth pursuing, both for its features and for its prizes.
