Jungle Jim El Dorado Has Just Been Announced by Microgaming

Microgaming has its fair share of slot machines already, and when they put their mind to it you can expect great things from their developers. One of their latest announcements teases us with a trailer for an upcoming slot machine, which will be called Jungle Jim: El Dorado.

Based on what has been revealed so far, we know that it will be a treasure and jungle themed slot machine, where you go in search for some long lost treasures from the South American continent.

It’s not the most original idea ever, but it might still work for it, especially since they’ve announced high multipliers and payouts of up to $92,000. The slot will have 25 lines and 5 reels.

What We Love

The game has an adventure theme which I for one enjoy taking advantage of, whenever I can find it in a slot machine. It has to be very well made though, since there is a huge amount of competition, plenty of other slot machines giving the same type of search for some Mayan or Aztec treasure. Jungle Jim: El Dorado will just be the latest such slot machine to be released.

Since we only know of some of its features and its title, we have no idea how good the graphics will be, but hopefully this will be one of the better looking slots from Microgaming.

Among the features that have already been announced, we know that the game will have Rolling Reels and multipliers, free spins and scatters. Wild symbols should be present as well, as they are in 90% of the games offered by Microgaming anyway.

The Rolling Reels, which we know from other slots offered by this developer, give you the chance to get multiple wins, all from the same initial paid spin.

To get paid this way, you need a winning combo first, which results in the disappearance from the reels of the symbols that are part of it. The new symbols, which occupy the empty spots, will have their own chance to form a combination and to get you paid. Should this happen multiple times, multipliers will start to increase, reaching top values of 5x for the next wins.

Another way to get multipliers is to land the necessary scatters and to trigger the slot’s free games. The free spins have multipliers of their own, of 3x, and together with the ones from Rolling Reels you could get paid up to 15x what the paytable indicates.

We don’t know much about the game right now, so there is no knowing what its weak points will be. Hopefully, there will not be too many.

Based on what has been announced so far, it sounds like a good game to try out, even with the theme choice that is a bit too common to be exciting.
