Theme of The Game

Win Sum Dim Sum is a Chinese themed slot machine, its special angle being the focus on a certain dish of the cuisine that this country made famous around the world. I’m talking about Dim Sum, which is mentioned by the slot’s title, alongside the words “Win Sum” (win some money).

How To Play It

The slot’s betting options are all crammed into a single option, at the bottom of the game area. It’s marked Bet, so you’re not going to miss it. It’s easy to use if you want to just modify the total value, but if you want to fiddle with the options you can do so by opening up its small menu, and you can change both the number of coins and their individual value.

It’s a standard interface for Microgaming, at least for their newer titles. You will not spend a lot of time with the betting options, but you might not realize immediately that the betting area can open up and give you even more things to change. The look is not what I’d call impressive. It has some decent themed images, but just as many have no spice to them, no connection with the game and its declared theme.

A simple enough feature to explain to new players would be the wild symbol, which the game will present to you on all the reels, but which will expand only when appearing on the 3rd reel, and only if this results in the formation of a new combo. Wild symbols are capable of replacing regular icons only, so scatters are not influenced by their presence.

Summary

Win Sum Dim Sum has enough downsides, including the low number of lines and the quality of the design, but at least it offers a somewhat unique theme, which hasn’t been approached this way before.
