ELK Studios, the company that made Wild Toro, chose for this game a theme that is based on bull fighting.
Because of that, the two sides are represented by the Matador on the one hand, and by Toro (the bull with the red cape) on the other.
Bull fighting takes place in Spain, and based on what we’re seeing in the background, the host to this confrontation is a small town from this country, a charming image being shown there.
Once you get past the two character symbols, you will also discover the logo as a wild, along with things like hand fans, coins, oranges and red roses.
Developer
You’re getting this game from Elk Studios, a slot developer based in Sweden, and a company that doesn’t release new titles too often. Instead, their aim is to create games that are as good as possible.
They have only 8 games released so far, in 4 years, so they do take their time with these new releases. Some of their recent slots include Poltava and Bloopers. I enjoyed the design in most cases, even in slots that were on the simple side, like DJ Wild was.
How To Play It
You have 12 betting options that you can select as you need to. The smallest one is at $0.20, the maximum one at $100. No matter how much you’re wagering, there are 100 coins in the bet.
To play the game, you select the wager from the button found in the bottom left corner, and then you click on Spin which is on the right.
It’s a game optimized for a mobile device, so there is three buttons total present. Betting strategies are available, which will vary the bets depending on the path you want to take with them.

Special Features
If it’s a modern slot machine, chances are that wild symbols are not going to be missing from it. For this particular slot, you get a logo with Wild Toro, which will make its appearances on its own, or will be brought to the reels by the Walking Wild feature. The wilds can’t replace the Matador or Toro symbols, only the regular ones in newly formed combinations.
Toro, a bull with a goatee, which seems to be using too much hair gel, is shown in a Walking Wild symbol. This one starts from the 5th reel, where it needs to appear, and it will move to the left, turning the Matador symbols into wilds along the way.
As for the Matador, this symbol is placed on the reels from the middle three columns. If you land three of these, you get the Matador Respin Challenge. Three respins are offered inside, with additional Matadors giving you one respin each. You can end the respins early if you land a Toro symbol, since the walking wild will start turning these scatters into wilds.
Maximum Payouts
The prizes might not be too high, the best ones reaching $1,000 (10x the bet), but the RTP is still at over 96%, so you can expect to get paid often at least.
Summary
Wild Toro will be one of the interesting games from Elk, with features unique to it and with a design that I loved.
