Theme of The Game
The theme in a slot like Wacky Waters is mostly about the ocean when you first look at it, but soon enough you will figure out that it’s even more about the comedy. The main character is Albert, a blowfish, and he is accompanied on the reels by different creatures, which are described as wacky by the developers. You have sharks, crabs and other types of fish.
This all happens at the bottom of the ocean, and you get to see the fish in the background, along with plants which are typical for such an image. The ocean theme seems to be very popular, and a lot of developers have chosen to create slot machines based on it already, so there is a lot of competition for this game. The majority of these slots will look better than Wacky Waters.
Developer
Playtech is known by most players that spend time in online casinos, as creators of high quality games. They have quite a few games in their collection, and the majority would be slot machines, naturally.
Wacky Waters is one game that they’ve announced, but the graphics actually tend to be better in their titles, so make sure to look at everything they offer, before you discount them. They have all sorts of games, including titles with paylines and ways to win, with lots of features or more on the classic side.
How To Play It
The two components of the bets you place in this game are the number of lines and the coin value (line bet). You choose both of them, and the wager will be used on up to 15 lines. You don’t have too many lines to form combinations on, 15 being below average.
The interface of Wacky Waters was created with smartphones and tablets in mind. You have a spin button on the right side, the options in the top left corner, and the various numbers related to the wagers at the bottom. It’s not a very interesting design unfortunately, though they did try to make some of those fish look “wacky”.

Special Features
Three types of features are introduced in Wacky Waters. One of them is a wild symbol, which is represented by the image of Albert, the blowfish. This symbol, when it appears, can be tapped or clicked on, and after a few seconds of holding your finger on the symbol, it will give you multiple random wilds on the reels. Wilds will be used to substitute for other symbols, only regular ones though.
Another one has a shell as its picture and a Scatter logo. You have to click on one of the shells multiple times, to make the crab come out of it. You’re going to get paid here, the maximum amount being at 100x the wager. You need at least three shell icons to trigger this feature.
The final feature triggers a bonus game where you can win free spins. It’s the symbol with an Anchor on it, and getting it in a minimum of three positions will trigger the bonus game. In this bonus game, you choose the direction in which the blowfish will swim towards the surface. Each lane brings you a different combination of free spins, multipliers and extra wilds for the feature that follows.
Maximum Payouts
The maximum payouts haven’t been announced so far, but I’d expect them to be of considerable value since it’s a slot with only 15 lines. We only know a scatter payout, which goes up to 100x the bet.
Summary
I wouldn’t really recommend this slot based on its design, but the features look very good, and hopefully the payouts will be on the high side.
