Theme of The Game

Spinions Beach Party is not as much about the party on the beach, though that’s part of the story as well, as it is about the Spinions, creatures that are suspiciously similar to Minions, one of the most popular animation characters from the last couple of years.

As you will notice yourself, the Spinions will behave and look quite similar to those other creatures, which were secondary characters in Despicable Me, and then main characters in Minions, a 2015 animation film. The reason for the Spinions name appears to be the lack of a license to go after the Minions brand directly.

As for the location of the action, you’re going to notice a tropical beach in the background, with big speakers and a DJ booth, with lots of Spinions enjoying themselves on both sides of the reels. On those reels, the symbols will include Spinions, but there will be fruit cocktails and poker cards as well.

Quickspin is the creator of this game, and even though it’s only been around since 2011, the developer managed to design a number of gorgeous slot machines.

They seem to pay attention to the design of their games, and most of them look great, so they remind me of NetEnt in that way. They don’t neglect features either though, and you can see it in titles they offer, including in Spinions and in another title from 2016, called Wild Chase.

How To Play It

The slot’s respin feature starts up when there are Spinions that appear together on its reels. At that point, the Spinion symbols are locked into place, and then the reels will respin for free. Should new Spinion symbols make an appearance, the respins will continue for as long as this keeps happening. When there are no new Spinions on the reels, the respin feature stops.

You can also get free spins started, when the requirements are met. You will get a different background image, since the party is now at a club, and you will find that once again you have sticky wilds. The sticky wilds are offered for each Spinion that lands on the reels.
