Theme of The Game

The theme in Mermaids Millions mixes two very common topics, often selected for slot machines. You have the kingdom of Neptune on one hand, with mermaids and lots of treasures to be found below the ocean’s surface, and you have the cash on the other hand.

How To Play It

It’s not the kind of design that you would be impressed with, at least if you look at just its graphics and ignore that there are five other slot machines on the same screen. There are both themed symbols and poker cards on the reels, and the design style is an older one, borrowed from the original Mermaids Millions.

Special Features

First of all, we have a wild symbol, which is represented by Neptune himself, the king of the oceans. Wild symbols are the equivalent of Jokers from card games, capable of taking the place of other symbols, though in this case they also have to be in the exact right position where they’re needed, not just be present.

The other important symbol is a Gold Coin, a scatter that can trigger the bonus feature when it appears in enough positions on the reels. With 2 or more scattered Gold Coins, you receive a number of bonus multiplier points, to be collected for later use. The number of coins in your line bet determines how many points you receive.

When you have at least three Coins scattered on the reels, a bonus game starts up, which will be triggered for all the players. Each player uses his own accumulated bonus multiplier, and it will be applied to the value of the prize that you get inside. The prize comes from a treasure chest that you pick. A total of 15 treasure chests are shown on the screen and each of the six players chooses one.

Maximum Payouts

According to the game, payouts of up to $100,000 are possible inside. Wagers can go up to 500 coins though, so it’s not going to be a cheap game if you’re going after the maximum possible prize.

Summary

Normally, the game would be far from impressive or worthy of attention, not with the kind of dated look it sports anyway. However, multi-player games offer a different type of experience, so because of that I’d say it’s worth trying out.
