Lost Vegas

lost-vegas-slot-logoZombie themed games are often enough offered by slot developers, but they’re not usually as well designed as Lost Vegas is.

The action obviously takes place in Las Vegas, only we see how it looks in a post-apocalyptic world, where it’s full of zombies. The survivors, the ones that are still around, are visible among the symbols as well.

You actually have two different sides to choose from, the Survivors or the Zombies, and for each one there will be a different set of high paying symbols, and even some features that will behave differently.

The Zombie side has mostly workers from the entertainment industry and other locals, including here a show girl, a nurse, people that look ready to get married in a chapel, plus the Elvis impersonator that was about to do it.

The other side, the Survivors, has more serious looking characters, with a cop, with golf players and girls dressed in club dresses or for a day at the office.

Developer

This is going to be a Microgaming release, and it’s one of the cases where I actually love what they came up with. The graphics are as good as they can be with Microgaming, they have included lots of great features, and that’s all we know right now.

If we go by history, we shouldn’t expect a big top jackpot from it, not in a slot with ways to win at least. There are quite a few other releases from this developer each year, but I’d say that this one is over the average quality that they usually put out.

How To Play It

The betting will probably need you to spend at least 30 coins, in order to activate 243 pay lines, or ways to win as they are called in this case. You will be able to vary the coin value and the number of coins to be used for each virtual line (30 lines used for betting).

The game starts with the choice, of the two sides to pick from. The symbols will be different, along with the overall look and some of the extra features from the free spins. Both sides look very good, and they should be fun to experience.

Special Features

Besides the features which will come to you thanks to the symbols that will land on the reels, there will be a couple which will simply be activated at random.

The Blackout Bonus is one of them, a feature which turns the lights out and which then turns the character icons into cash prizes. The more that are present, the better the payouts, which seem to pay in multiples of the total bet.

The second feature which is activated at random, is called Zombie Fist of Cash. This one also gives you a reward chosen at random, and it will be offered through a giant zombie hand that comes from below the reels.

Wild symbols are going to be added to the game, and they will have the usual role, being used as substitutes, as long as the reel they’ve appeared on is the right one. Because there are no regular lines, the wild’s position isn’t as important as in other slots, it can be useful from anywhere on that reel.

As for the feature which sets apart the Zombie from the Survivors side, it will come during the free spins. In both cases, a biohazard sign with the Free Spins logo underneath will have to appear 3+ times, before you get the feature.

The free spins will have an Infection feature during Zombie mode, while a Stash Feature is offered for the Survivors mode.

Maximum Payouts

This is the part of the game that hasn’t been announced so far, but I expect a payout of 1,000x to 3,000x at most, this being a game with ways to win which pays often, not big.

Summary

I think that you will find Lost Vegas an interesting option, the features and the graphics being its best advantages probably.
