Theme of The Game

Though the name of the game does mention fire, it’s nowhere to be seen among the symbols and graphics of this game. What you get instead, is a slot machine with a design that would belong in the future, with symbols which you’re not going to be too sure about, some resembling energy sources, others being some kind of generators. The incineration part is only visible if you get a winning combination, since at that point the symbols will spontaneously combust and disappear from the reels.

Founded just a couple of years ago, in 2013, Yggdrasil Gaming has its HQ in Malta, with the developers being mostly from Poland. The founder of this new company is one of the former CEOs of Net Entertainment, so the experience is certainly there. The quality of the games seems to be just as good as that of a game from Net Ent, which is good news for any player that tries to give their titles a chance. In case you were wondering about the meaning of the word Yggdrasil, it comes from the name of some mythical tree from Norse mythology.

How To Play It

The futuristic look of the game extends to the betting options as well. You’re going to find them at the bottom of the screen, in their usual position. The options allow you to modify the coin value, going as high as $2, but not the number of paylines, which will be fixed at 20. The paytable info is a bit harder to locate, requiring you to first click on the “+” button, after which you should use the one labeled with an “i”.

The game, though without a theme that you can easily pinpoint, looks great, with unusual looking symbols and surrounding graphics that would be considered industrial like even in the future. The area marked Wild Pattern is located on the left side of the screen, with its patterns changing each round.

Special Features

Only one special feature symbol is used by the game, a wild which looks like some alien power source. Luckily, it’s marked with the word WILD in the middle, so it’s going to be easy to recognize. Being the only feature, it will substitute for any other symbol that you may get. It is used to form combinations together with other symbols when it’s in the right place and uses its substitution ability, but it will not form its own combinations.

The incineration mentioned in the title makes an appearance with each new combination that forms on the reels. The symbols which are part of that combo are incinerated, so empty spots will now be available on the reels. New symbols will come in and take those empty spots, and hopefully this will mean a new win for you.

If you have three consecutive wins this way, a Wild Pattern feature triggers. Wild symbols appear on the screen according to the pattern shown in the area from the left.

Maximum Payouts

The maximum payouts of Incinerator will not go higher than $400 normally. That’s a 200 coins prize, at a denomination of $2. You can expect a lot of small prizes in this game though, and while reviewing this game I’ve often won prizes worth up to 25 to 35 times the total bet value from a single wager. This was done with help from both the incineration feature and the wild patterns.

There is no question about it, it’s going to be a game that you will enjoy playing if you love winning. The graphics are not particularly interesting since they don’t have a clear theme, but they’re going to be good enough.
