Theme of The Game
Giant Gems gives you exactly what the title says, the slot machine being gemstone themed. You get Giant Gems at times, as long as you activate a side bet which gives you gemstones that can take over up to 9 positions on the reels.

I’m not pleased with the look of the game, this being its biggest downside as far as I can tell. It features boring gemstones and poker cards, neither of them very well designed.

Special Features
There aren’t a lot of features in this game. The Giant Gems are the ones that give you a bit of distraction, but only if they are activated with the help of those side bets. The Fortune Spins button will allow you to bet up, to increase the wager to values between $40 and $200. The five side bet values will each unlock additional Giant Gems for you, while at the same time removing the lower paying poker cards from the reels.
Get the wager to the maximum of $200, and you end up with a slot machine which has only high paying regular gemstones on the reels, along with five Giant Gems, which pay you when they’re fully visible on the middle three reels. The combinations will form much easier and the payouts will be considerably higher.
To this advantage, for which you pay, you can add another, which is helping you out at all times. I’m talking about the fact that the slot makes it very easy for you to form a combination. You can do it just with consecutive symbols on the same line, even the position is in the middle three spots, and doesn’t touch the right or the left side.
