Special Features
There are three symbols inside that have some extra ability. These are the Wild Logo, the Magic Lamp and the Bonus Logo.
Let’s take a look at the Wild Logo first, since it’s the one that pays best and which has a role that everyone is familiar with. It’s obviously the wild feature of Genies Touch.
As the wild, if it appears in the right position, it can assist the player in forming new combinations, being able to substitute for other icons that are needed in its place. Wilds can’t substitute for scatter symbols. They can create their own combinations, as long as 3 to 5 of these wilds appear on a line, from left to right.
A Genies Touch feature is triggered whenever the player gets at least three Magic Lamp symbols on the reels. With Genies Touch, the player gets multiple symbols from the reels turned into another one, which is chosen at random. This should improve the odds of getting a good payout out of the game.
If you find a purple gemstone icon, set in gold, you’re looking at the Bonus Scatter, the symbol which triggers 10 free spins when it is present in a minimum of three locations on the reels. The reels get more symbols with Magic Lamps on them while in free spins mode.
Maximum Payouts
The top payout is one of the cons that I found about Genies Touch. It only goes up to $1,250, and that’s with a $100 wager per spin. A 250x multiple of the line bet is very low, especially for a game with 20 paylines.
Summary
I think you will find Genies Touch to be a very interesting proposition, but for huge payouts this isn’t the right game to play. It does many other things well, so I’m disappointed that they didn’t do better in this area.
