Theme of The Game
Fire Horse comes from IGT, and it is a game which is themed around the idea of a fire horse, an elemental being by the looks of it, which is accompanied in at least one other symbol by a water horse.
The fire element is present in the background image as well, where you will see animated flames, an entire wall behind the reels.
The theme appears to be part of the fantasy genre mostly, though I don’t see a direct connection. There are various symbols which suggest it, beyond the ones which have the elemental horses on them. These include a coin with the fire horse, orbs of different colors, some pottery and green crystals.

IGT is a company that has the respect of most players, being around for a significant amount of time, and having a decent collection of slot machines to offer.
They are present both in the offline and online slot markets. The games they create don’t always have the greatest graphics though, as evidenced in Fire Horse, a slot machine with a dated look.
How To Play It
To play the game, you have to use 50 coins each spin. The game doesn’t let you select fewer lines, since 50 are needed to keep all 720 ways to win active. You can spend from $1 and up on each line, the upper limit being quite high, going up to $500. You have 50 lines to cover, so the minimum bet is going to require $50 per spin, while the maximum one is fit for any high roller.
The slot’s layout is different, using 5 reels of different sizes, ranging from three to five symbols available in each column. The interface is normal, and it has betting and spin buttons available at the bottom. The quality of the design is not that great unfortunately, and I for one can’t see any vision in the symbol selection.

Special Features
One major feature to consider here is the wild symbol, which is shown stacked on the reels 2, 3 and 4.
From there, these symbols have the power to make the game more profitable for you, but only if the other reels get the needed symbols as well, so that combinations can be formed through the ways to win system (matching symbols on consecutive reels). The system in this case forms combinations starting from either side of the game area.
Scatter symbols, with green crystals on them, will give you cash prizes which go as high as 50x the triggering bet, but that’s it. The slot doesn’t have any other major features to trigger with the help of this scatter.
The final feature is the one you get when you have five Purple Orb symbols arranged on the five reels. These can form combinations, and they offer you 8 free spins for each one. Should enough combinations form, you could get as many as 240 free spins in one go.

I’m not impressed with the top payout offered in Fire Horse. There are 1,000 coins on the line here, which can mean $1,000 or more, depending on the wager you used. A 1,000x prize is OK if you consider the use of ways to win instead of paylines though.
Summary
Fire Horse will give you an unusual gameplay and some OK features, but in many ways its average at best, and I’m referring here at the design and the payouts.
