The story of Little Red Riding Hood has been the inspiration for this Fairytale Legends slot machine.

This fairytale, which has as the two main characters a little girl and a big bad wolf, has been traced back to the 1600s, and there have been multiple versions created around it. The ones which seem to be most popular are the ones from Brothers Grimm and from Charles Perrault.

As the girl with the red hood walks through a forest, she meets the wolf, and tells him where she is going, to her sickly grandma, to bring her some food.

The wolf goes ahead of her, eats grandma and dresses up as her, waiting for the girl, and eventually eating her up as well. Apparently, the story was supposed to teach the children to stay in the village, where it was safe, rather than go out in the dangerous forest.

The game relies on symbols that are not necessarily related to the theme, either getting the poker card treatment, or involving things like treasure chests, shields and story books.
