The theme of Cleopatra Plus is obviously inspired by the famously beautiful queen of Ancient Egypt.

Both are incredibly often used in slot machines as themes, so I can’t say that I’m entirely satisfied with IGT’s choice in this case.

They offer a slot machine with a pretty average look, focusing mostly on elements from Ancient Egypt mythology and religion, plus some adequately decorated poker cards.

You will encounter the image of Cleopatra, there will be the gods which you can use to represent you (Bastet, Anubis, Aset, Horus and Hathor), the Ankh cross, the Eye of Ra, the Scarab and so on.

The way the game was designed is fairly normal for an Ancient Egypt themed title, so there is nothing extraordinary about it.

IGT is a big name in the casino industry, a developer that’s a creator of slot machines, both for the online establishments and for their brick and mortar counterparts.

Though they’re obviously not always very inspired when it comes to the theme they choose for their slot machines, they can do a great job with the features which are included, being capable of making a game that is a lot of fun to play.

How To Play It

40 win lines are apparently in use in Cleopatra Plus, with no option offered to reduce that number. The line bet starts at $1, which means that the minimum wager for each spin is $40.

You can take it a lot higher than that, increasing the line bet even to $100. The graphics and the options available in this game are standard mostly, so there is nothing special about them.

You can use some very special features though, ones which can take some time to learn, but which can be used even without understanding how they work.

Special Features

The most special features in Cleopatra Plus are related to the leveling system, which lets you advance and get more out of the slot as you invest time and money in it.

It’s a loyalty scheme I guess, one which also makes the game a lot more fun to play. You can go up in level by collecting scatter symbols with 1 to 3 followers shown in them.

The number of followers is collected, and the total number, along with the target for the next level, is displayed in the right side top corner.

You will pick which of the six gods available you want to represent you. Three are offered at the beginning, while another three are activated once you reach level 4.

You start off with level 1, Chosen By Aset, and you can go up to level 8, which is called Glorious Soul of Aset. The word Aset is replaced with the name of another god, if you don’t go with the one they give you initially.

As I mentioned previously, there is a Follower symbol, a scatter which appears anywhere on the reels of the game. You need 3 to 5 to get the free spins bonus rolling, with 1 to 3 followers to place on maps that will give you additional resources to use during the feature.

The regular feature of this slot is the wild, the Cleopatra Plus logo, capable of paying 1,500x by itself, while also substituting for symbols and doubling wins. It may come in stacked at times, the size of it being randomly picked.

Maximum Payouts

The top prize is offered by the wild and it can mean a multiple of 1,500x, used against the line wager.

Summary

Cleopatra Plus doesn’t have an interesting theme, or a high quality design, but it compensates with its fun features and its elaborate leveling system.
